CA partners with 3N -- National Notification Network
|
| As part of continuing efforts to enhance our
safety and security programs, The Columbus Academy has partnered with 3N -
National Notification Network to assist us in providing quick and precise
communication to the school community in an emergency situation. Later this week, parents should receive an
e-mail message from 3N welcoming you to their program and requesting various
contact information and associated priority settings. So that we can implement this program as soon
as possible, please provide 3N with your contact information as soon as you
receive their welcome message. In
addition to emergency events, this system will also be used to notify our
community in the event of an unscheduled school closing such as a snow or
extreme cold day. 3N is the leading
global provider of mass notification solutions to Global 2000 corporations,
government agencies, health system and educational institutions. The 3N system can notify recipients by all
standard communication methods including phone, e-mail, SMS text messaging,
instant messaging, fax, Blackberry and others.
You will control how the system should contact you. For more information or further assistance, please contact Director of Technology Sean
Cullinan at 509-2245 or cullinan@columbusacademy.org.
