The purposes of the Parents' Association of Columbus Academy are fourfold: to foster a close relationship among CA, its students and members of the Association; to encourage support of the work of the trustees, administration and faculty of the school in achieving its goals; to serve as a channel of communication between members of the Association and the trustees, administration and faculty of the school; and to sponsor activities that promote the quality of school life.

Through fundraisers such as the Antiques Show, Book Fair, Charlie David Dinner, Scrip Program and Viking Corner, to name a few, PACA has awarded grants for the 2007-08 school year to the following causes: financial aid, annual fund, amplification in the Chinese classroom, a computer center in the LS art room, student council mini-grants, LS library projection system, an outdoor art facility, visit by a prominent author/historical figure, new lighting and video equipment for the theatre and purposeful use of halls and walls in the school.
